Many parents and indeed many investment providers are concerned with the fact that children who are stuck with a Child Trust Fund are not permitted to transfer it into the new Junior ISA.
We feel it is unfair and are concerned that many CTF providers will now just concentrate on the Junior ISA and children stuck with a CTF will have a poorer performing investment.
Currently, it is not permitted to transfer a Child Trust Fund To A Junior ISA but we are hoping the government will change it’s decision on this matter in the near future.
If your stuck with a poorly performing Child Trust Fund then why not transfer it to another provider.
